RAVE--Real American Values Enterprises--is just that. An enterprise that uses film, satire, occasional wit, and just plain old fashioned rants to promote Real American Values...over the other kind of values. You know the ones: hatred, intolerance, greed, corruption, ignorance, racism, homophobia, anti-rationality, corporate criminality, me-firstism (to coin yet another ism) and all that crap the phony fundamentalist right wingers consider to be "family values".
The garbage values they preach aren't what America is all about.
Caution: Fundamentalists, right wingers, creationists and those who are satirically-challenged or ironically-deprived will be offended by the content of this site. And that is a good thing.
Why the rabid chihuahua?
Because...there was a news story about a cop who entered an apartment and was attacked by a pack of chihuahuas. The image of the cop running down the sidewalk with chihuahuas nipping at his heels stuck with me; and when we started this blog, I thought: That's me--an insignificant but obnoxious voice nipping at the hallowed heels of the Establishment.
